Looking forward to an awesome 2015!

I have been missing in action for 2 months. Been so busy, work has not been smooth-sailing, frequent traveling in November and December, was suffering from fatigue and absolutely no energy for the kids.

Alas! I am so so so glad that this phase has passed and I started the new year with positivity! Yes, work will continue to be crazy but I am determined to balance my time between work and my family.

I can still remember I was busy working on my laptop on Christmas morning and my girl just gave me a wake up call. She requested for my time and attention and I told her that I was busy thus she has to play on her own first. So she just turned away from me and said "So you have no time for me now?"

OUCH!!! I am so guilty of having no time for them. No time for them though I was physically home on weekday nights but busy on my laptop. No time for them as I had to get them to sleep early for the next day. No time for them as I was traveling. No time for them in the morning as we are always in a rush for school and work. No time for them over the weekends as I have to rush reports or charts.

Hence, the top priority in my new year resolution is more quality time for the kids. And I mean devoted time with them. Not just being physically with them yet busy replying emails via phone or checking emails, but to shower them with my full attention and enjoying the moments with them.

Goodbye 2014. You have not been fantastic especially toward the last quarter but it was a year blessed with love from kinship and friendship.

Welcome 2015! I hope that this year will be an AWESOME year for me and my family.

Looking forward to a year of awesomeness!
